Whoa - I am so new to this. User content applications?

Would Joomla allow me to put up up a site where registered members could keep and track some (very limited, not complicated) financial information? I would need to be able to make fields for users to enter information, and they would need to be allowed to add lines as needed - for example they have 5 accounts with information they want to track, or 2 accounts, etc.

There would need to be some simple calculations that can be done with the information (have you seen those online forms where you put in a mortgage amount, interest rate and you get the payment amount? Something like that.)

Nothing complicated - but the user's information would have to be saveable and they could come back and add to it, etc.

Any ideas? Is Zoomla going to work for me to build out that kind of thing?

Thanks!
